At Irish Retreats we wish to meet your needs of being a woman. Through a set of information on our website as well as classes and workshops on physical activity, dieting and emotional and spiritual healing, our objective is to promote a ballanced lifestyle and a healthy perception on femininity.
Our mission is to create environment of a friendly support for women, where we all can learn from each other and mutually source in our knowledge, experience and wisdom.
Our rejuvenating weekends provide yoga, pilates and body ballance classes combined with meditation, workshops on relaxation techniques, self esteem and self image, foregiveness and grief, anger, personality types and their role in triggering psychosomatic stress as well as stress management. This all is propped with a detoxifying diet based on vegetarian cousine and the raw food philosophy, which together with selected exercises have a purifying and reviving effect on our bodies.
Meet Our Team:
Gosia Mroczek- Robinska is a qualified fitness instructor and a personal trainer. A graduate from a ballet school, she has also developed over the years a practice in pilates and yoga. She is a teacher of hatha and ashtanga yoga, of which however the second one is Gosia’s true love. The latest training which she has accomplished was a monthly course of ashtanga yoga for instructors in Costa Rica in summer 2010. Privately Gosia is a happy mother to twin daugthers, Paola and Patrycja, and a fan of holidays in the sun.
Caroline O’Connor is a fashion designer and art teacher. She gained her experience in fashion by designing for Avoca Ireland. Privately Caroline has been an enthusiast of body detoxifying methods through a raw food diet and juicing. Together with Gosia, Caroline is responsible for composing a detoxifying yet nutricious cousine, which combined with selected exercises has a rejuvenating and purifying effect on our bodies.
Joanna Gorniak is a qualified psychologist. Her main interest remains in the field of child psychology, systemic family therapy and behavioural disorders. Although finding the cognitive- behavioural therapy very effective, she is personally fascinated by psychoanalisis. Privately an enthusiast of the sea, sea life and horses, she has also been involved in her other business venture called: An Irish Horseman, for which she has produced the first Irish DVD guide to desensitizing, starting and breaking horses.
